Saturday:   9:00 PM – 9:00 AM.

PREVOCATIONAL  INSTRUCTOR

Description: Provide support to people with disabilities in their place of employment or day services.  Responsible for the assessment and development of people in vocational or life skills.  Also responsible for the production related aspects of the product or service provided by the area.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, preference provided for college education. Must  possess a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record to be insurable under our insurance.  Prefer experience in working with people with disabilities. Must be able to pass a qualifying criminal background check which includes motor vehicle report and a drug test. Qualities desired include being an advocate for the person who is supported, being organized, positive, adaptable to change, a self-starter, strong assessment skills, written and verbal communication skills, a broad perspective, strong conflict resolution, problem solving skills, and computer skills .
Salary: $11.05/hour
Hours: Monday – Friday:  7:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
